    This forum is for people have been missing for 30 days or less. After 30 days if they have not been found their thread will be moved to the appropriate state forum. A shadow topic will be left in place for an additional 30 days. A shadow topic will remain for Amber Alerts until they are cancelled.

  • No new posts FL vs. Jarred Harrell
    Harrell is accused of kidnapping and killing 7 yr old Somer Thompson in 2009. Somer went missing on 10/19/09. Her body was later found in a Georgia landfill. The trial is scheduled to start in the last quarter of 2012. Harrell has also been charged with 55 counts of child pornography involving another victim. That trial is scheduled to begin January 2012.

    Jacques, a convicted sex offender has been charged with kidnapping with death resulting and may face the death penalty. Jacques is currently being held in federal prison while he awaits trial.

    Bustamante has been charged with 1st degree murder. She is accused of killing 9 yr old Elizabeth Olten in 2009. She was 15 at the time and is being tried as an adult. The trial which has been delayed several times is scheduled to begin with a pre-trial conference on 1/9/12 and jury selection beginning on 1/10/12.

    Michelle Young, 29, was five months pregnant when she was found beaten to death in her home on Nov. 3, 2006. Her daughter, then 2, was by her mother's side and was unhurt.

    Mele, a convicted sex offender, is accused of killing 25 yr old Laura Garza in December 2008 after they left an NYC nightclub together. Laura was reported missing 12/3/08. Her remains were recovered in Apr 2010. The trial is scheduled to begin January 2012
