I’m here at the ball field; he was last seen going out the gate and heading towards the residences here. On the North side of the ballfield. He was last seen here going towards those houses.

Going west, there’s supposed a pond to your west; supposed to be a dry pond, but may have water in it. The dad is saying the child may be there. Have 40K check that.

We should probably note that this is a local alert rather than an Amber Alert.

Sounds like the search got underway pretty quick. Hopefully they will find Joshua soon and return him safely to his family.

that's why I put the special needs PINK alert and mentioned he is autistic in the subject line because while it is NOT an Amber Alert-

since he is a special needs and it is just happening- I didn't want him getting lost with the cases in the other forum as those are getting updated by all of us thru the day.

Since we don't have a subforum for 'and other alerts'- I put him here.

Yes, the child wandered away- he was not seen getting in a vehicle and being taken away.

I came on here to post an update- will put in a separate post.

Dogs Do Have a Scent for Joshua

I am getting live up to date reports on this case by locals in the area, good to know the dogs do have a scent for the boy

air temps are cool right now, hopefully he will be found before darkness falls, however, the moon is almost a full one that will help with light in that manner.

I understood that. I only mentioned it so people who receive AA's via email and/or cell phones or who may look for one will know why they didn't receive or find one.

I'm just surprised that this little guy could book it after the guardian saw him leaving the fenced in playground that the school staff at the time couldn't have found him before LE and the civilian group came in since now more hours have passed.

Boys tend to be more 'explorers' than girls as far as getting into sewer drains- not bothered so much by getting dirty, climbing over barbed wire fences, imo, but I don't know if autistic boys would be as adventurous. I do know that other cases we've had here of autistic children that have left their yard= they too were drawn to nearby water and well...those didn't end well. The most recent one of those we had listed here- the mom was mad and wanted to sue or she wanted to make a bill get passed, even tho her son got out on her own watch- think it was something about she thought the pond should've been fenced in or something.

Little Joshua is out there in shorts and no jacket- it's going to be cool this evening
