I'm just surprised that this little guy could book it after the guardian saw him leaving the fenced in playground that the school staff at the time couldn't have found him before LE and the civilian group came in since now more hours have passed.
Boys tend to be more 'explorers' than girls as far as getting into sewer drains- not bothered so much by getting dirty, climbing over barbed wire fences, imo, but I don't know if autistic boys would be as adventurous. I do know that other cases we've had here of autistic children that have left their yard= they too were drawn to nearby water and well...those didn't end well. The most recent one of those we had listed here- the mom was mad and wanted to sue or she wanted to make a bill get passed, even tho her son got out on her own watch- think it was something about she thought the pond should've been fenced in or something.
Little Joshua is out there in shorts and no jacket- it's going to be cool this evening
