Could this have been Cedrika? The witness, Mr. Valerio, says the child he saw reminded him of Cedrika, however he seems to think that it wasn't her from what I can tell reading this. It also appears he didn't get the registration number for the vehicle. Why? It would have made tracking the vehicle down that much faster! Though I suppose maybe he did get it and that bit of info is being withheld in order not to alarm the owner and send them into hiding...

From CTV News 6 Sep 07: Que. police release description in Cedrika case

Police have told the public to be on the lookout for a white man with brown hair who has access to a red four-door Acura, likely manufactured between 2002 and 2004.

The man is described as:

30 to 40 years old
White male with light brown hair
Medium build and average height
French-speaking
Wearing sandals, Bermuda shorts and a short-sleeved T-shirt the day Cedrika went missing

The car is described as a four-door red Acura with a beige interior and chrome door handles.

This little girl went missing while I was visiting my brother in Kingston, Ontario. Her family were camping under tarpaulins near the site she was last seen in. It's hard to believe she still hasn't been found. Where is the worldwide campaign for her return that some other parents seem to get support for? (tongue firmly in cheek there)

Unlike Maddie, Cedrika lives within 3 hours of where I live. She did not get the media attention or campaign Madeleine did and I find that very sad.
